Tips From Widowers

by Jan Robinson

Jan Robinson began collecting advice from widows after her husband died. Six months later, she decided to turn this into a book

When I wrote Tips from Widows the perspective came from my own loss and bewilderment, writing the book and gathering tips from other women helped me immeasurably. After time widowers started to ask me “Why don’t you write about us?” At the time I replied that I was only a widow and it would be better for a widower to do this. However I started to receive more and more requests and so I searched for widowers either remarried or living in the early years of widowerhood and from these interviews my new book Tips from Widowers was created .
